THE BIG SPLASH
1/12th Scale 12 Cell Sport Hydro
| So new, the permanent molds have
not been made. But on the first test pull, I decided to race the boat at the 1999 ELECTRIC
NATIONALS AND TOOK THIRD PLACE!!! I had only run the boat one time in testing, but it felt
so good I new it would work. The design came from the 'Volcanic Splash just blown up to 1/12 scale for 12 cell racing. At this time, only ABS is available, later new molds will come for fiber glass and carbon fiber. |

1/16 Scale Hydro 6 to 8 Cell

The hull has a 3 point ride system (sponsons) which means no trying to figure the right ride height and it eliminates complicated trimming that you find normally with hydros.
